Firebaugh, CA - Angel flight

Rosa has taken many flights from Northern CA to KSMO to receive treatment for a cochlear implant. I've flown her and her mother twice. This trip, the Doctors confirmed she is able to hear.

Catalina, CA

Catalina airport is the airport in the sky. Completed in 1946, the runway was built by blasting away the tops of two mountains and using 200,000 truckloads of rock to fill the gaps between them. Great hike!!

Santa Monica, CA

The final leg from Sedona to Santa Monica was not for the faint of heart. It seemed to start out just fine, the wind was still pushing us to a slow crawl, the sun was setting and ahead the clouds were moving over Santa Monica.

Sedona, AZ

As Colin puts it, “bring your A game when landing in Sedona.” Not only for the fact that you can plummet off the runway or into one of the stunning red rocks, but there’s a very popular restaurant there, where folks watch every landing and every take off. That’d be embarrassing.
